Hello, I'm Khader Khoudeda

Developer.

I'm a First-Gen student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, studying Computer Science. As I navigate my path as a beginner software engineer, I focus on crafting web applications with a user-first mindset, always looking for ways to make them more intuitive and impactful. Every project I take on is an opportunity to refine my skills, experiment with new technologies, and deepen my understanding of both frontend and backend development. I thrive on challenges and the process of figuring things out. Innovation excites me, resilience keeps me moving forward, and my goal is to build software that not only works but truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

About Me

My name is Khader Khoudeda, and I am a Computer Science student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. My journey into the world of technology and software development began in college, where I discovered my passion for coding through various projects and coursework. Although I did not participate in coding competitions or take a computer science class in high school, I quickly immersed myself in the field and have been dedicated to honing my skills ever since. Throughout my academic journey, I've developed skills in various programming languages and technologies, starting off with python, and eventually stemming out into HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, C++, C#, .NET, SQL, Git, and more. I love solving complex problems and building innovative web applications that offer a great user experience. Beyond my technical skills, I'm a resilient and driven individual who is always eager to learn and grow. I'm committed to making a positive impact through my work and contributing to projects that drive meaningful change. When I'm not coding, I enjoy exploring new technologies, collaborating with peers, working out, and playing basketball. I'm always looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge and take on new challenges. In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I am passionate about community involvement and mentorship. I have served as a peer mentor with OASIS (Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services) for a year, and as a peer mentor for CAST (Center for Academic Success and Transition), where I mentored first-year students. I believe in the power of sharing knowledge and helping others achieve their goals. Whether it's through simple conversation, or a facilitated meeting, I strive to give back to the community that has supported my growth. My ultimate goal is to leverage my skills and experiences to create software solutions that make a difference in people's lives. I am excited about the future of technology and look forward to contributing to its advancement.
